The Pierce-Weippe Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) is deeply committed to protecting the privacy of Internet users. Below is information outlining our continued support for the responsible management of consumer information.
The Chamber does obtain some types of non-personally identifiable information such as the Internet Service Provider you use to connect to the Internet, your browser type, or the type of computer operating system you use (Macintosh or Windows, for example). The information collected by the Chamber is used for the purpose of making a content targeted for users and making sure the site is compatible with all of our user's systems.
When you submit personal information to the Chamber, it is only used by the Chamber for the reason(s) requested. The Chamber does not solicit e-mail addresses or any other personal information submitted. Personal information submitted to the Chamber is intended for the sole use of the Chamber and is not shared, sold, or disclosed to members of a third party.
Spam or unwanted email is abundantly transferred through the Internet in an attempt to force messages on people who do not wish to receive it. The Chamber does not support or condone the use of spam and the sending of unsolicited e-mail in any form, nor does the Chamber control other Web sites involvement and/or practices in this area.
The Chamber does not use "cookies" on its web site.
The Chamber does not solicit information from anyone under the age of thirteen. If someone under the age of thirteen submits information to the Chamber and it is known that the person submitting the information is under the age of thirteen, the Chamber will not use the information provided for any purpose. The Chamber will remove the information from its system as soon as it is discovered and will not disclose it to third parties.
